Red Apple School
Coming Up at Red Apple
A magnet school established in 1974 when parents, teachers and other community leaders wanted an alternative school, Red Apple's emphasis is on science. Community involvement, parent-school partnerships and child-centered education is the school's basic philosophy. With a belief that "active learning is reinforced through the knowledge of science and the environment," its mission is "to provide stability, variety, exposure and opportunity for every child."
